Why do our products cost more than other bakeries?
There are many factors that affect to our pricing:
1. Inflation
In light of the recent inflation spike, we were forced to make a difficult decision to increase our prices after nearly 4 years in order for our small business survive.
2. Quality Ingredients means quality products.
We pride ourselves for being purveyors of creme of the the crop products since day zero. Our recipes undergo several testings before they are made available for purchase. We do not cut on costs by using cheap ingredients. Heis Cakes is synonymous to mouth-watering, honest-to-goodness cakes, breads and pastries and we intend to keep it that way. Cheap isn’t always good and good isn’t always cheap.
3. Rent, Merchant Fees, Labour Costs etc.
Needless to expound on, it requires talented elves to produce your favourite desserts who work hours upon hours to satisfy your cravings.
What is the shelf life of your cakes/breads?
As we do not use preservatives on our products, it is best to consume them within 2-3 days from date of purchase.
When do you usually accept orders?
We are closed on Mondays.
